Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of BuildMyResai, including the website, templates, editor, downloads, and optional paid plans. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.

The service

BuildMyResai lets you build, edit, and download resumes and cover letters. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive license to use the product for your own job search. We may change features, templates, or availability as we improve the service.

Your content

You own the text and files you upload or type. You are responsible for making sure that content is accurate and that you have the right to use it. You give us permission to store and process it only as needed to run the workspace (including previews, downloads, and AI tools you choose to run).

AI output

Suggestions from tailoring, writing help, and similar tools are assistive drafts. You must review them before you send them to an employer. We do not guarantee interviews, job offers, or that any wording will pass a particular screening system.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• use the service for unlawful, misleading, or harmful purposes
• attempt to break into other accounts or our systems
• abuse AI or export features in a way that disrupts the service
• copy or resell our templates or software as your own product

Subscriptions

Some features may require a paid plan processed through Stripe. Fees, renewals, and cancellations are shown at checkout and in Settings under Subscription & Billing. Taxes may apply. We may suspend access if a payment fails.

Disclaimer and liability

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for lost job opportunities, lost data, or indirect damages arising from your use of BuildMyResai. Our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim, or twenty-five US dollars if you are on a free plan.

How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page will change when we do. If you do not agree with an update, stop using the service.
