Privacy Policy

This policy explains how BuildMyResai (“we”, “us”) handles information when you use our website and resume workspace. It describes our product as it works today. It is not a substitute for legal advice.

Account information

When you create an account we store the details you provide, such as your name, email address, and password (handled by our authentication provider, Supabase). If you add a profile photo or location in Settings, we store those as well. We use this information to sign you in, show your account, and operate the service.

Resumes, cover letters, and edits

Documents you create, upload, or edit—including resume content, cover letters, templates, and related job-targeting notes—are stored so you can return to them, preview them, and download PDF or Word files. You own the content you enter. We do not sell your documents or use them to advertise to other people.

AI features

Optional tools such as tailoring, writing help, and interview prep send the text you choose to our workflows so we can return suggestions. That processing happens to provide the feature you asked for. Treat AI output as a draft: review it before you send it to an employer.

Billing

If you subscribe, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive subscription status and invoice records needed to manage your plan. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.

Cookies and session data

We use essential cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and protect your session. See our Cookie Policy for details. We do not currently run a third-party advertising or analytics cookie banner.

Your choices

You can update profile details and security options in Settings. The Settings “Privacy & Data” tab is planned for export and similar requests; that export is not live yet. You can delete documents you no longer need from your workspace, and you can close your account by contacting us through Help & Support in Settings.

Changes

If we change this policy in a material way, we will update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of BuildMyResai after an update means you accept the revised policy.
